Greetings.

Re: General Shipping and Transport rate increases for Quarter 3, effective July 1st.

Shipping:

Autohub has received notification from all the shipping lines we use, that their charges will increase from Quarter 3 for Japan to NZ services.

Shipping lines have been experiencing major price increases in Bunker Fuel (BAF), charter rates, and running costs. These together with Port fees and Port delays have forced them to pass on additional cost increases.

We have had discussions with them all and due to high demand/insufficient capacity, we have had limited success in re-negotiating on your behalf at this time.

NZ Land Transport:

Our local transporter companies have also started to charge Fuel Adjustment Factor (FAF) surcharges due to the considerable increase in fuel costs and labour rates.

Regrettably this has resulted in significant increases to transport particularly outside metropolitan areas and for long haul deliveries. Out of town charges do vary widely depending on your nominated delivery address and at which port your vehicles land.

After reviewing all cost increases notified to Autohub, D2D package prices for up to 20 cbm will increase by $326* NZD net effective for all vehicles shipped ex Japan to NZ from July 1st 2022 .

*For vehicles over 20cbm and for non-metropolitan area deliveries, please contact us to confirm costs as required.

All increases will be shown on your Autohub invoices via a combination increase to your D2D package price and BAF charges.

For all other source markets, please contact us to confirm new pricing as these have been adjusted accordingly.

If you need further information, or wish to discuss this, please contact us via customerservices@autohub.co.nz.

Thanks,

Team Autohub.
