Re: BAF increase for Quarter 4, Japan to NZ
Autohub has been advised by all shipping lines that BAF (Bunker Fuel Adjustment Factor) rates will increase for Q4 of this year.
BAF is commonly calculated for the coming quarter based on the supposed shortfall/loss from the previous quarter.
In order to maintain consistency and the best price possible, we have reviewed all the different rate increases notified and applied an “averaged” BAF increase to be on charged.
Hence, our current BAF rate of $280.00 for standard vehicles (under 20m3) will be increasing by $29.00 to $309.00 effective vehicles shipped on or after the 1st of October 2022.
