Increased BAF Levy charges

Greetings,

Due to mandatory global changes in the bunker fuel used by shipping vessels to a low sulphur fuel, we have been notified by all our shipping providers that BAF levies will increase effective January 1^st 2020.

Starting January 1^st 2020, all vehicles being loaded and shipped will attract the increased BAF levies. You will see this on your Autohub invoice as a separate line entry.

As each shipping line calculates BAF differently, we have converted this to a ‘per vehicle’ amount to keep things simple.

For Japan to NZ

For Australia to NZ

For UK to NZ, NZ coastal shipping, and other routes, these rates will be confirmed as we receive them from our shipping lines.
