We have just received the following notice from our Transporter service contractors:
Severe weather overnight has caused disruption to our network.
Heavy snow and strong wind warnings are in place across New Zealand.
All Cook Strait Ferry crossings have been cancelled for at least 24 hours.
Road closures mean no travel is possible North of Christchurch or South from Picton.
There are also road closures throughout the central North Island.

This will result in major disruption to the transport network nationwide.
